The HDK-224 Portable USB DAC & Headphone Amplifier is designed for listeners who want significantly better audio quality than the built-in sound hardware found in most smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Powered by dual Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips and a dedicated CB5100 Pro USB audio interface, the HDK-224 supports high-resolution PCM audio up to 768 kHz / 32-bit and DSD playback up to DSD256, allowing compatible audio files to be reproduced with exceptional detail and clarity.

Its dual headphone outputs provide excellent flexibility. The standard 3.5 mm output offers broad compatibility with conventional headphones and earphones, while the 4.4 mm balanced output is designed for compatible balanced headphones and in-ear monitors, delivering improved channel separation and enhanced audio performance.

The integrated High / Low Gain switch allows the amplifier to better match both sensitive in-ear monitors and more demanding headphones, while dedicated hardware buttons provide convenient control over volume and media playback without constantly reaching for your device.
